****Official Buying a Gift For Your Boss Thread****

I think this thread is very valid for the times and this arena. While I do think that getting the perfect gift is somewhat overrated by all, buying the incorrect gift is not overrated though, it can be disasterous. With that in mind, I need some ideas for a gift for my boss. I somehow was given my boss's name for Secret Santa. Limit is $10, but thats BS, but I don't want to go overboard. I am thinking something in the $25 range. A general description of my boss is that he is just like any other office boss, except he is a dork.

anyways, help would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure the blow job you gave him yesterday was more than enough. Just kidding TSC.

[/ QUOTE ]oops, forgot about this, okay, what should I give him besides the BJ or the rimjob. I was thinking a bottle of wine, which usually goes good before or after sexual favors.

Last year, for the first time, the department pitched in and got our boss a gift certificate at his favorite restaurant. When he received it, he was visibly uncomfortable and after an awkward 3 seconds of silence he came up with this gem, "Aw, you guys didn't have to get me a gift. Making your lives miserable 365 days a year is all the thanks I need." Another 3 seconds of awkward silence, then nervous laughter ensued.

We are still trying to figure out how to top last year.

For $25 you can probably get a decent bottle of wine. Maybe a Steel Business Card Case/Holder (this might even be engraveable with your boss's initials for 25)?

I like that idea. Aside from him being the President of the company, he also does sales.

Keep em coming!

thanks god man, you just saved me hours of locking threads and such. buying gifts for bosses is such a popular topic that would have no doubt spawned hundreds of threads.

I'd like to give my boss an ax to the f-ing skull, but that just me...
