I'm not saying the open-fold was a good idea, but it's not like you're betting this flop less than 100% of the time.

I know it's bad in general...but compare the EV of check-folding vs. open-folding here...see what I mean?

Of course, if he does it repeatedly, than it is very costly to him from a deception standpoint.

I've done it before. It's +EV in that it allows me to concentrate on more important things, like MTV.
