A serioud word about poker software add-ons

Hello ,

I am a 4 year online / live player. and i must share some
thoghts/findings with you guys.

I was doing preaty good on SNG's. normally played the 30$ - 50$ but also some 100 and 200 ( if i was realy winning good money). but latly had a realy bad run, and i cant get my game back together. ( did not come in the money for the last 74 tourneys).

I saw an add to a software that tracks players and their winning chances according to previos games they have played.

I think, that who ever installs any kind of software on his poker machine needs to be EXTRA EXTRA carefull.

these software can easy scan your cards and send those to
other places where you dont want them to go.

the reason i bering this , is cause i do suspect one of those software-service to be doing just that.

I have decided to disassemble that software and will try to let you guys know if i found anything. thogh it is not likely that i will find since if there is data sent it will probably be well hidden and i dont have all the time in the world...

I want to hear your thoghts about this...

thanks ,

TheGremlin.

Yah, I'd quit poker before I got 74 OOTM.

Who would they send them to, exactly? All of your opponents? How? It's quite ridiculous when you think about it.

Your the reason even the fish can win a few.

Seriously, poker must be rigged against you. I dont think i could find someone so bad at poker to lose that many party SnGs in a row.

you should seriously consider like, playing with your eyes open. actually, i'm pretty sure with my eyes closed i'd have a hard time getting ootm 74 in a row. so i have no idea what you're doing wrong. but it's pretty clear that you suck. you should work on that.

If you are 74 OOTM, you might want to get a monkey to disassemble the software or something so you don't accidentally kill yourself.

Re: A serioud word about poker software add-ons

I wrote a quick excel forumla to calculate the confidence of such a thing happening to certain ROI'ed players with a standard deviation of 1.8.

<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
ROI Confidence you won't experience this over 74 SNGS
--------------------------------------------
30% 100%
20% 100%
10% 100%
0% 100%
-10% 100%
-20% 99.9%
-30% 99.6%
-40% 99.79%
-50% 99.16%
-60% 97.20%
-70% 92.42%
-80% 83.04%
-90% 68.38%
-100% 50.00%
</pre><hr />

I don't think the standard deviation is accurate anymore when you climb so low. I don't know I'm not good with this statistics thing. Hopefully someone can correct me.

Either way I think the point is made...

My thoughts on this are that 1) I'd like for you next post to be coherent enough to read and 2) you should stay away from SNGs if you went 74 OOTM.

That is all.
