My New Years party is starting soon...but on a quick note...

If you're worried about the draws - bet more on the flop - re-raise significantly on the flop....

Why wait until the diamond draw hits on the turn and one (wierd, but) possible straight draw hits as well to get your money?

Get your money in ahead - not behind.

Here on the turn - he'll call w/his completed draw - or likely fold his worse hand. (He MIGHT occassionally call w/ a kingie, but not often enough to make it worthwhile for ya)

So you pushed a value-less spot and missed your value on the flop...
