Kingdom of Fear Bomb Shelter: REQUIRED ITEMS?
 

A recent poster mentioned bomb shelters and this got me thinking about the good old days of bomb shelters and the red menace. The Russians are coming etc. So, in this new era of The Kingdom Of Fear, what do we stock in the backyard bomb shelter? Essential items only please! I'll start the list that others, will, I hope, finish. You will need the following catergories of items: Food, Air Filters, Entertainment, and Excercise. I purpose the following short list. Please add or make comments as necessary.

Food: Scotch Whisky

Air filters: Cigars

Entertainment: Porno Mags

Excercise: Best life-like, female blow-up doll available or a live substitute, if available and willing.

Don't forget to put a poker table in your shelter and maybe some 2+2 books to read.

No, the entertainment must be live, not inflatable. Don't tell me you have forgotten the strategy implications of the mine-shaft gap? The earth must be re-populated by very attractive nubile things mating with fat old white guys who can afford space in a mine shaft.

Other items of course include, but are not limited to:

a) .45 pistol
b) Prophylactics
c) Miniature English-Russian dictionary and Bible
d) Nylons
e) Cash and gold adjusted for inflation.

In other words, whatever you'd bring to Las Vegas for a really good weekend.

Don't laugh, some of these items were listed as essential survival gear in a semi-official survival kit list for Y2K crap in a political subdivision of the State of Idaho. Really.
