Hand against a lunatic bluffer

Villan is 85/40/4.5 but over only 25 hands. He has shown down garbage in the last few hands. Curious if anybody plays this more aggressively.

Has he been 3-betting preflop with garbage, too?

If not, I like how you played it.

If so, I might lead the turn and call down if raised.

I'd checkraise the river

Unless he *calls* the river with garbage I don't see this. OP was not completely clear on this point.

I like the way the hand was played.

there are 4 undercards. he has an 80 VPIP which probably suggests he's going to pay off with any pair or any A

He does call with garbage, but that fact wasn't known until he showed 64o

Huh? This is not an example of him calling the river with garbage. He was betting.

Some wild players do understand that a bet or raise can always win, but you cannot call the river with nothing. That is the read that is lacking and it is important.

How aggressive are we talking? Raising multiple streets with nothing?

I would 3-bet the flop at the very least.

after this hand I had the pleasure of a few more hands before he went broke. This guy was off his rocker.
