Drug-tested for hte first time.
 

harro, i lurked around OOT at my old work before getting laid off and subsquently have been offered a new job. A lot of guys around here have experience w/drugs and hopefully passing drug tests for the corporate drug nazis.

Just a little background, i've stopped smoking weed on a regular basis, BUT i've probably toked once or twice in the past 30 days. In any case, there's not much in my system but there potentially could be. Anybody have recommendations for masking whatever little THC i have in my system? FWIW, my new job will be for one of the major banks in NYC.

The day of the test drink as much water as possible. There are tons of products for sale, its probably best to take one of these in addition just to be safe.

If its a hair test, then start worrying.

I have always heard the best way to get stuff out of your system is to sweat it out so maybe start working out really hard for a few days.

once or twice in the past 30 days? a couple glasses of water before the test and you should be fine.

it really depends what level they test for - 50 ng/ml and you're probably fine w/o doing anything. 20 ng/ml and you may or may not need to water down a bit. if you're really worried, buy the stuff and follow the directions. they also sell it at vitamin shoppe, gnc, etc.

fwiw, my brother-in-law once got randomly tested after smoking the night before, drank a bunch of water beforehand, and just barely failed at 52 ng/ml when the cutoff was 50 ng/ml. another time, he was randomly tested, again after just smoking the night before (you'd think he would learn his lesson) and passed by putting 3 drops of visine in his sample.

moral of the story: piss tests are easily beatable.
