Translucity....pushes?

I've been pushing a lot of hands just to keep ahead of the blinds. The BB warned me that I "better stop that" when he saw me pushing into his BB a lot. Shows that he was eager to call me but was just waiting for a decent spot to do it. Push this or wait for a better chance?

I would push it despite his warning. If he spite calls you and you lose so be it. If you run into a bigger hand, it happens.

Also k,3 is a reasonable hand 4 handed. If i had junk here i would fold to make him think that i am selectively pushing.

I'm sure this will turn out to be a +EV push, but I fold this and give the other short stack just one more round to hang himself.

I don't do this often, but I have to disagree with Lori here.

Not pushing this would be criminal. IMO, this is not even a remotely close decision.

If you're going to let table talk keep you from pushing this hand, you should do yourself a favor and turn chat off.

Warnings from the BB, or anyone really, should be translated as "I wish you'd stop picking on me, but I'm way too much of a pussy to call."

Get on with your bad self. push and yell "ship it batch"

[/ QUOTE ]Does the number of players at the table matter when it has been folded to the SB?

yep. even if above post wasnt funny as hell, it'd still be true.

these tight-asses are so concerned that they'll lose their 2x buy in that they wont call with anything... its pathetically predictable.

the funny thing is, of all the chatbox chatter I've seen playing, the safest thing to do is to assume the opposite of whats said.

If bb seriously thinks his threat is going to have an impact on your decisions, he should logically be putting you on a much stronger hand next time you do it. So push any two
