Strange things to do while your ill...
 

Here's the deal...I've had a horrible cold/flu bug for the last three days, and I noticed two possibly strange things that I do when I'm sick.

The first is, I sit in the shower and bring my knees up under my chin almost like a sitting fetal position. I can sit in there like that until the hot water runs out.

The other is, I will cup my nutsack with one or two hands while lying in bed or on the couch. Nothing sexually gratifying about it...it just gives me comfort for some reason...

Are these odd? I don't do either at any other time except when I'm sick. But I just realized I've been doing them for years now whenever I do get ill. Just curious if I'm a freak whatnot...

I usually take really hot baths. Instead of showers. Or I just sit in bathroom with the shower running on really hot and breath in the steam. Both of those make me feel better for some reason.

#1 Is ok as long as you don't fart.

#2 Is ok as long as it's your own nutsack.

The fetal thing no, the balls thing yes...strangely comforting...not just when Im sick....but not in public either. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

This one especially really calms/comforts me...I'm sure there's some psychological reason for it, maybe I should try it more often when I'm not ill.

The title didn't say what his ill was doing, either. It's difficult to give an answer without knowing what the ill was doing.

I often fall asleep while cupping my nutsack. Thinking back, I do it more often when I'm sick. Odd.
