AQo in the big blind

Is it theoretically sound to call a raise and reraise with AQo in the big blind (expecting 3-way action), assuming you did not think the action would get capped?

Re: AQo in the big blind

From what position did the raise come from? Is the opponent passive or aggressive?

For me it would strongly depend on your opponents. If you have a LAG raise and a TAG iso-raise than calling or even capping in some situations would be fine. If its two tight raisers, I'd rather have a better hand to go up against them OOP.

for example: average players both from middle position.

Without more info than that they're "average" players I'd probably fold. Your dominated or upagainst a big pp enough I think that its worth folding.

definite fold. you don't like the hand against one raiser. against a raise and re-raise you're in big trouble.

This is an easy fold for me.

This is a fold more often than not.

I post a hand where I played Q9o on the button in an unraised donkfilled pot and people said it was a mistake to play. Now some people are considering playing AQo OOP against two raises? I don't know about you guys sometimes....

i didn't read that thread but paying one bet with Q9o is infinitely worse than playing AQo in this situation.
