NL is much more entertaining. Limit might be easier to learn.

When played well, NL requires a much smaller bankroll.

You need to learn both.

On the same bankroll you'll make pretty much the same kind of dough in either betting form. A true expert probably has a higher expectation in NL on the same bankroll though. Start with the one you prefer.

Many people would disagree with this. They say it's too boring waiting for good hands. NL is much of a "play premium hands" game compared to limit.

Either one can be very profitable and you should definitely know both.

For me no limit has less swings than limit because you can make them pay to outdraw you, as in limit those idiots never fold.

They do fold in limit as well. This is actually one of the reasons I personally enjoy playing limit more. How to play properly in multiway pots in limit is one of the trickier things in hold'em.

That and the ADD child in me dies of boredom from NL.

I hate it when people call with hands that are behind. It's costing me money I tell you!!!!

You need to learn both to be good at either, but start with limit. NL will get you into bad habits (namely, you will likely become a weak-tight player), and good habits (like value betting) are much easier to learn at limit (and also you can think about situations mathematically, so it'll be a bit easier IMO). Both are good, both are profitable, play the one you like best once you've done both.

I disagree. You cannot consistently beat any but the worst players playing only "premium hands". I am much more apt to play borderline hands for 1 bet in NL than in limit. Do you see why?
