for some reason i was watching the news while eating and this broad was talking about the PSP, but kept calling it the PCP. saying how the PCP is huge and japan and gamers are lining up from san fran to new york to get their hands on PCP.
maybe she had something else on her mind.
i thought it was funny.

Isn't gettin wet when you sprinkle PCP on weed and roll a joint with it? I'm pretty sure, but not positive. Popular with tha bruthas, me thinks.

The etymology behind this term is uncertain, although it flourishes in, and may have come from, the rave culture scene. Thus, when PCP is smoked, usually combined with tobacco or other illicit substances, phrases that imply the user being or getting "wet" are common connotations, such as that in the quote above.

It comes from dipping a cigarette or marijauna in the liquid form of PCP.

Also embalming fluid is referred to as "wet."

In Australia, they call bong hits "cones," so add some PCP and have "snow cones."

Always made it sound a little friendlier.
