Suggested stack to go to table with...how much is enough?

Can anyone give me a realistic range as to the amount of chips one should take to the table in Omaha/8 relative to the limits being played? 25, 30, 50 times the small bet or what? I believe I read somewhere last year that 50 times was suggested, but I don't know. I've had a problem with being under-capitalized at some tables and need to get a good handle on this. I ran across one guy at Poker Stars who had a $17,000 at a 30/60 table and he thought it wasn't enough to play at the 75/150 table where I see people playing with $1,500 - $3,000 all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Asumming it's a normal structure with 4 bets per round - you are fine with coming to the table with 25Big Bets.

Anytime you get below 12 - you want to re-load.

if the table is not really aggressive 20 is fine, nothing wrong with 25 - that is what I buy in to holdem for, but I usually just buy for 20 with omaha
