Poker Tracker

Just got it and really love it! I like the fact to be able to see opponents stats more so than my own. Thus being able to adjust my play to the situation presented against certain player type(s).

As far as personal stats go, what should I be striving for as far as some of the %'s that the systems provides (VP$IP, PRF%, aggression factor, etc...)?

All comments welcome.

Re: Poker Tracker

It is a great product. And another great thing about PokerTracker is the helpful service you get (thanks Pat) if you run into any difficulties.

The stats question you ask depends on what kind of game you're in.
Generally speaking, however, most folks' VP$IP is too high, and their PFR is too low.
Full ring game, I'd say your VP$IP should fall around 15-22? with PFR being 6-10?

There have been many discussions on this topic, and I'm sure many more qualified and detailed answers.

Do a search for Pokertracker stats or something similar.

Cheers,
JTrout

Re: Poker Tracker

Optimal stats will of course depend on the specific game that you are playing - limit vs no-limit, full-ring vs short, and to a certain extent your style of play.

Try searching the appropriate forum(s) for more information on the specific game you're interested in.
