Just want to confirm that NL is less variance than Limit.

Thanks

OK Sorry I play mostly limit but can you explain this to me - seems like if you can loose your whole stack on any given hand that variance could be huge

The variance can be huge in both games, and it is greater in NLHE when playing very aggressively. El Diablo started a thread on this somewhere about variance being greater in NLHE than in LHE.

Just online games it would seem, here is the thread.

Re: Variance NL vs. Limit

Unless you play one hell of a LAG game or play very short handed, NL variance is alot smaller than limit. Just look at a limit and a NL players win rate graphs
