When NOT to continuation bet?

If your playin against a player that you know will call a flop and turn bet w/ ANY pair, or even Ace/King high or worse, and you raised w/ a hand like JT, is it worth continuing your bet if you miss the flop completely? Ace high can win at showdown, but J high usually doesn't cut it.

If you know he will call with any pair or a k high then there is no point in betting because all those hands are better then yours. Take the free card and hope to hit a pair yourself

Well if he is going to fold the flop without a pair or an A/K, then you should continuation bet with JT always.

Well if he plays "fit and fold" with everything but Ace high then bet specially if hes loose.

If hes loose he may have Q4o then folds. He may also have A5s and call, J8o fold, 58o fold, 92o fold etc.

If he calls your CB bet, You're probably behind so its time to playy poookkeeerrr(or not and fold ).

Fit and fold is such a simple strategy to play, therefore its pretty simple to counteract.
