My question is should i have gone against the allin short stack or left them to the SB who had a decent stack(and as it turns out would have knocked them out)or was i right to try and build my stack with A 8 and the chip leader out of the picture,I was pretty sure middle stack would fold.BTW I busted out 4th OOTM [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Your raise is correct. The blinds and antes represent a 60% increase in your stack size. A8o wins about 64% of the time against a random hand, 66% against what he held. Wait for a better shot? Might never happen.
