KQ, is this a bluff?

no reads yet. is this a call with an A to trap an extra bet on the turn, or more of a bluff usually?

Looks alike a bet with a 7, I would either raise or fold here. Seeing that you are at .5/1, fold is probably the better option.

agreed, i just don't know how common waiting until the turn to pop one off is. i guess OOP it's not necessarily that strong since i can just check through.

It could be an A but I think its more likely that its a 7 or a pp. Could also be a picked up spade draw but regardless at 5:1 its a fold

I've been having a similar problem. I raise the turn with middle pair for a free showdown. The top card pairs on the river and villian donks into me.

Logically, it looks like he was ready to just calldown fearing his kicker is no good on top pair and after another one dropped, my mathematical chance of holding the last card drops significantly, he no longer gives me credit for it, and tries to get an extra bet from some lower pair that probably raised the turn for a free showdown... or does he figure I'm unlikely to have that card and decide to bluff at it on his missed draw?

Standard. If its a 7, let him have it, he still beats us in equity.

i sometimes raise this because most of the players at lower limits will raise their A on the flop and bet the turn as a scare card. so i tend to raise/fold and chk/fold river almost always.

Standard at this level in my opinion. Raising is expert
