PP 50 NL. top 2pair under fire

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

MP2 ($82.85)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($65.85)</font>
CO ($24.55)
Button ($47)
SB ($61.35)
<font color="#C00000">BB ($28.19)</font>
UTG ($23.62)
UTG+1 ($123.05)
UTG+2 ($42.05)
<font color="#C00000">MP1 ($20.95)</font>

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG (poster) checks, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, BB checks.

Flop: ($2.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $1.2</font>, UTG folds, UTG+2 calls $1.20, MP1 calls $1.20, Hero calls $1.20.

Here I have 3 options, folding is not one:

- call. I am alittle uncomfy about so much action against my TP/GK, so I'll just call and see what turn brings since I have position.

- min-raise. Perhaps it will cause a 2 pair or set to reveal itself here, cheap.

- close to pot raise of to like $7-$8 or so. killing odds for OESD, and may be causing, set/2pair to reveal itself. Fold to re-raise.

I kind of froze to be honest and just called.

Turn: ($7.55) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $5</font>, UTG+2 folds, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to $10</font>

now what?

Now becuase you played this hand so weak /tight your folding.
Raise before the flop with position and against bump it up on the flop.

Flop:

I think your call here is fine. Seems like a WA/WB situation to me.

Turn:

I probably push here. Even if MP1 is holding the straight, you still have redraws to the full-house.

Anyone else? Kind of a tough spot with that turn raise from MP1.

Raise that flop. Somebody is drawing to the nuts and you can't let them have proper odds. As played, you have to fold that turn. You have four outs and aren't getting the right odds.

A push on the turn makes no sense here. Either your going to get called by the nuts [straight] or all the worse hands are going to fold. Just becuase you have redraws to the nuts doesn't mean you push. Therefore push on turn is the worst play.

Make it $2 preflop, ~pot the flop. Probably would of taken this down. IF AT called youd preflop, hes not continuing with a $5 bet here.
(If he does, make yourself confortable, you've found a good table)

As is, fold.
