Telfair v. Felton v. Stoudamire v. Boykins

Okay, here's my (crappy, I know) PG situation right now.

I have Boykins, Telfair and Salim Stoudamire.

Should I pick up Raymond Felton and drop one of these guys?

Telfair has the worst stats so far, but perhaps the greatest potential.

lil help?

Um... drop Boykins or Stoudamire. I'm not too sure why you even have those two. Is this like a 16-person league or something?

12 person. I just did a bad job on guards in the draft.

My team is looking solid on power forwards and centers, though. It's usually the other way around for me.

Boykins has the best stats of all these guys so far. Stoudamire sucks on assists, but the dude can shoot... and on that crappy team I expect he may get more PT soon.

I would if it's not a dynasty. Jack will be starting by the end of the season.

[/ QUOTE ]we shall see, both are distinctly different points though, I like Jack's presence and I think he runs the offense well. Telfair on the other hand is still learning how to be an NBA point, but he is so quick. Time will tell if he is just another Marbury type player. Nate is going to teach both of them a lot, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Jack start later. I told my roomate that a week ago, and he is worried (he is a huge telfair dick rider for some reason).

Brevin Knight has tendinitis (not sure how long he's out), but Felton started last night and ended up with 18 pts, 10 assists. He won't get that much every night, but his minutes should be going up.

Yeah, Telfair just looks like what he is, a high schooler playing NBA ball. His natural ability can only take him so far right now, because everyone he's up against is much closer in talent than who he has played before, and they have had so much more good coaching, that it equalizes the situation.

He seems like the perfect candidate for a minor league NBA team. Get drafted high, based solely on how good you know he'll be. Let him play in the minors for a year, starting every game, getting personal attention from a coach whose motive isn't to win, but to make his players better, and basically learn everything he needs to come up the next year and be a solid NBA PG. HS point guards are going to be a rare breed, and will be hard pressed to succeed early on in their careers. Of course, Louis Williams just made the same mistake this year, so who knows. Good for them for getting the money though.

Well, yeah, that's why I'm considering Felton in the first place.
