Sometimes I don't understand how its possible for today's young adult population to know so little about computers. Do you pray every night that the poker bubble doesn't burst? Cause then you'd be as worthless as a Kerry04 bumper sticker.

DVI for TFT or LCD monitors. The reason is that their picture displays are digital and DVI is obviously digital, whereas with a VGA cable a digital to analog conversion (which could cause a loss of precision or quality) must take place. For a CRT it makes no difference.

My 8600 doesn't have a white DVI cable. Can I remedy this and get a DVI picture somehow?

Thanks. I am not gay, sorry, nor am I Rob Thomas. You are basing how much I know about computers on a monitor cable question. Weird.

FWIW, I'm now using the DVI. I couldn't see a huge difference. fsuplayer has them lined up side by side and he claims the difference is pretty negligible.
