Avian Flu Pandemic Preparation
 

I posted the following questions in the Stock Market forum:

"I have read reports of how an avian flu pandemic will hurt or slow the world economy. Other reports indicate that a pandemic this winter is a near certainty.

Has the market already factored in this pandemic's impact with the appropriate degree of probability? Is anyone withdrawing funds from equities for fear of economic collapse due to the avian flu pandemic that may come?"

For OOT, I ask the above and also, how are you generally preparing for a possible avian flu pandemic?

1 bottle whiskey, for entertainment and disinfection
3 shelves books, to keep warm
1 shotgun, to kill evil birds and wandering zombies
1 bottle Chinese liquor, for torturing tresspassers.

There's a lack of chicken soup and condoms, but it'll do in a pinch.

If this turns into a situation where birds are actually attacking people to infect them with the virus, I will be sooooo happy.

With the amount of attention the press and OOT is giving this, I will be disappointed if the Avian Flu of Doom doesn't turn into the sinister fusion of The Birds and The Manchurian Candidate.

I guess I haven't trolled OOT enough. I had not seen a post about this topic before. Nor did I bother with the Search function.
