you mean your buying a computer from dell and want to know what mother board its coming wiht?

I dont think dell provides that info on the website, i did some quick looking at dell.com and couldnt see. I know some places like alienware.com let you chose what mother boards come in thier systems. You might have to call and find out. I want to say that dell has a deal with intel so probably also run intel mobos but thats just a guess.

Google the model and you may find a message board with useful info.

Do you ever read the Usenet groups? They're loaded down with a lot of crap (spam), but a lot of geeks post and answer tough/off-the-wall questions there. I've waded through a few times and eventually found what I needed.
