4 handed 80/160 hand

villain in this hand has been playing tight for 4 handed, not opening a lot(or soit seems. His numbers are 36/24/2.3 over 250 hands. He seems to be a thinking player but of course I could be off.

anyhow,i raise 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in CO, sb 3 bets, i call.

($520)flop is 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

bet, call.

($680)turn 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

bet, raise, call.

($1320)river A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

he bets, i fold.

Re: 4 handed 80/160 hand

I wonder if raising the flop and betting turn gets more folds. I'm sure he'll fold more often to your turn raise than a flop raise or a turn bet in isolation, but giving him two opportunities to fold his likely 6-outer seems like a good idea. You may also get to showdown your pair for 2bb, rather than fold for 2.5 (although, I suspect he'll bet if that A hit him regardless of your action).

Also, I've never played above 30/60, and very little at that.

I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, no way you can fold the river. I think it is generally regarded as fact that any bet or raise by baronzeus on the river is a bluff.

thats a good fold. Unless hes 3rd leveling u, but he may not have enough hands on u to do that.

[censored] hate that move, raise for a free showdown and they either improve or still bet into u on the end.
