Re: Bellagio 80/160 Hand#2, KK
I normally follow through with a bet on the turn and if I don't get raised I bet the river. I don't like to suddenly show weakness after 3 betting preflop and betting an ace high flop, but dat's me, dat's what I do.
But then again there's nothing inherently wrong with the way you played it...I guess. I think because the person is as good as you say he could certainly be betting a number of hands here that don't include an ace. ~stephen |
Re: Bellagio 80/160 Hand#2, KK
Yes, holding two black kings, I would probably take that line; betting the turn, and likely folding to a raise.
But here, I have outs to improve, and I'd rather not pay two bets to do it. I thought there was a good chance I was going to get raised on the turn, I felt like his most likely hand was something like AK-AT, maybe with a heart. |
Re: Bellagio 80/160 Hand#2, KK
WA/WB with 9 outs to the nut flush which would definately be good (a set would start pumping this sooner), I probably take the same line as you, lose the least to an ace, win the most from a bluff, and let him draw to his 2nd best flush with the idea that its good if it hits.
Are you donkbetting if you hit a heart on the river? What about a king? |
Result
I lost to AJo for top two.
I planned on donking it if a heart came, probably if a K came off too. |
