Check Raise %

I was reading the FAQ and it said that normal C/R is 1-2%. Mine is only 1/2%. It seem that people are too likely to check behind me in passive game and thus I can't protect my hand. I just find that if i bet out they will call. Regardless, am I losing profit by not C/R more or not. I could give specific hand examples where I didn't but think I could have if people want me to.

You'll have to give specific examples. This stat is essentially useless, and I wouldn't worry about improving the stat. Try to find situations where you bet out but aren't sure and think/post about whether a check would be better.

Re: Check Raise %

I thought about checkraising this flop, but didnt get the chance. Would this be a good play or not? I figured a CR would trap the first guy if the button bet, which he might have because he was a semi tight avg agression player who called my PF raise. ( I wouldnt be surprised to see him bet KJ or something in this spot)

I'd just bet. Good situation for a semi-bluff.

Who are you trying to check raise? You are the only one to show aggression so far, there are no indications button will bet. You really need to just bet this.

I'd just bet. Good situation for a value bet with A-high that might still be best, the nut flush draw, and two overcards.

I know, thats what I normally do, just seems that I never CR, so I was looking at hands to see places that I could do it. I figured I could trap a guy for a few bets here. I realize its not right, but exactly when would I want to? Like top pair weak kicker and being bet into by a maniac?

You're right, you could be ahead, and/or be favorite to win, and pick up alot of money if you aren't and hit. I'm not losing any sleep if they both fold though.
