Re: ATL/TB
A half a win doesn't do you any good here, Jim, GO FOR IT.

Re: ATL/TB
WTF was bucs holder bidwell thinking when he put that bad snap down in OT? They're trying a FG on first down and he puts a bad snap down? All he had to do was eat it and they're still only looking at a 35 yarder.

Re: ATL/TB
the bucs tried so hard to give this game away but thankfully (for me) they managed to [censored] up every time.

Re: ATL/TB
Wondering if anyone heard the color guy on this game in OT.
After TB fumbles kickoff at ~ 17 yard line: "I don't know why Atlanta isn't just running its field goal team on here." After TB's Matt Bryant misses a FG on first down: "That's why my policy is that you have to try to score. You can't rely on the kicker. Leave him on the sidelines." Idiot. |
Re: ATL/TB
Biggest joke of the game was Mora electing to punt on 4th and 2 in OT. A tie is the same as a loss, so giving up the ball is like conceding the game. What a moron, how come these stiffs never have to take accountability for these egregious errors they make.

A tie is the same as a loss [/ QUOTE ] BUZZ!!! Wrong. The Falcons would still be playoff eligible with a tie. |

Re: ATL/TB
Atlanta's defense turns to paper in the 4th quarter - they should have tried to kill the clock some when they had 1st and goal at the 2 before they went up 24-17 - esp. with Hall out. (I think they scored on 1st down - didn't see the game.) Bad defenses should take that strategy a lot.

Atlanta's defense turns to paper in the 4th quarter [/ QUOTE ] Their strong pass defense is pretty much an illusion brought on by an easy schedule. I mean, who, aside from New England and Seattle, have they faced that's a great passing team? They've played teams like the whole NFC North, the rest of the NFC East, and the NFC South. I guess you could argue Carolina or maybe Philly falls into that category, but I'm not so sure. |
