I have never been to the Taj but...
 

Why do I get this feeling since the Taj opened from Rounders, to the photographs I see, the Taj is the gambling mecca of the east coast, even though it sounds so cruddy it seems like the pokerroom is a amazing site to see with so many poker tables and the escaltor etc is something out of the movies, next year ill be 21 and I got this idea in my head that Im gonna be going down that escaltor like worm and damon, smiling at all the lights walking into play some 300/600 with all the NYC rounders taking shots at the fish. Thoughts

Also, you might want to think about easing your way in to the big casino games. I don't care how much skill you have and how much you play now, trust me, playing in a casino is a different pace than you are playing now. I am not saying that it is or is not more difficult than your current level of play, it just has different intricacies than you are used to.

Dreams are made to be crushed, Ski. It's not going to be even moderately sexier than Turning Stone. Focus on school until you finish your degree and don't post in the middle of the night after you've been drinking and watching Rounders.

You are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment. Walk in, see what you want to see, walk out, got to the Borgata.

Ignore these guys, go to the Taj. The escalator to the Borgata cardroom will be a huge disappointment for you.
