Start playing cashgame 1-2$, advice please.
 

Hi,

After Only playing Sit n go´s for the last 4 months since I absolutley love(itm 55% last 400) it I been thinking about start playing cash games, I read low limit holdem by Lee Jones and Holdem for Advanced players so I´m not a stranger to the subject.

However I want some answers/opinions on these things I cant read about..


1. Should I start at full table or 6seat table?

2. As a winning player how do You play and how many hands per hour - So I can compare myself to someone.

3. I read about Poker tracker, can I download it somewhere or do I have to order it ? where if..

4. Please post some general tips & tactics that you feel you can share with your readers.

Hi,

0.5 - I would start lower than 1/2

1 - I would suggest full ring. There is less variance than in S/handed games.

2 - I don't really understand the question

3 - Goto pokertracker.com

4 - Read posts in the micro limit and small stackes section of this website. After you are comfortable with playing and have a bit of experience then read Small Stakes Hold em by Ed Miller.

2) Standard is 4 tables, 200 hands/hr for full table, 300 hands/hr for shorthanded.

Ok thanks for the answers.

What I meant in the second question: How do you play ? very tight,loose agressive AND if there is about 200 hand per hour HOW many of these hands do you play ? Figure I would count the average hands I play every hour and see if I play way too many for example.

You use pokertracker so that you don't have to count hands. If you search this forum you can find dozens of posts of people's pokertracker stats.
