Finding music lyrics online
 

I like having lyrics easily at my disposal, especially when listening to something for the first time (can't count the number of times I've misheard lyrics only to be corrected later). Anyone have any programs/sites they use for this?

I use a WinAmp plugin called EvilLyrics but indie albums and a lot of rap doesn't show up there. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

google also just started a service.

technically though the lyrics sites are on the same legal ground as mp3 sharing. just thought i'd point that out.

I've done searches on yahoo and google from time to time when I really want something, but even then some of this stuff doesn't show up. That, or I'm just giving up too easily. Just wondering if there are a handful of good sites that people have had good experiences with.

Not sure if you meant they're on the same legal ground as in "watch out for RIAA" or as in "watch out for astroglide," but if this is in violation of the site's piracy rules (I can't imagine why it would be) then my apologies and the mods should lock/delete.

Sometimes the lyrics can be a little off there, but the posters usually correct them. A lot of people post there simply to say OMFG I LOOOOOOOOOVE THIS SONG LOLROFL but sometimes you can get some interesting discussion on songs.

i've never had the song not come right up from a google search.

maybe u just listen to more obscure music than me, that's my only quess.
