I like Modern Amusement, but not that shirt. Its retro in a bad way.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was against that shirt when my sister told me to buy it (we usually shop together, she's a fashion major at FIT). For some reason though it's a girl magnet so I wear it every once in awhile.

The shoes are indeed filthy. This was mostly my slumming at home outfit today since I skipped work.

EDIT: If you haven't seen that shirt IRL it does look way better and it compliments my tall, skinny frame. It also takes some attention away from my shoulders which are... not very manly.

[/ QUOTE ]Your outfit earns a 6.5 on the *TT* sliding scale. You should have earned an additional point, but I took one away because I have a sneaking suspicion that you know better and this is not your best work.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL, you are correct. How you know that though I'm not sure. I almost took pictures of stuff I didn't wear today but decided not to violate spirit of the thread.

Modern Amusement is the sh!t. Nice choice, Mason.

[/ QUOTE ]

One of my favorite things about it it is that it hasn't made it's way to the east coast really. I have some of their stuff from when I took a trip to LA and it's nice to know that I'll pretty much never run into anyone with one of those shirts on here in DC.

I got $100 gift card to Banana Republic. The website has extensive choices. I'm not a big fan of BR, but I'm sure I can find something. Instead, I want you to tell me what I need/can benefit the most from/will look good in.

Please present 2 or 3 options. Total cost $80-$130. Please avoid dress shirts and shoes.

[/ QUOTE ]

http://www.bananarepublic.com/Asset_...3-00vliv01.jpg - Just the jacket (not crazy about the rest of the pieces) - $99

http://www.bananarepublic.com/Asset_...5-00vliv01.jpg - $149. Its daring, wont be that common even though its BR.

http://www.bananarepublic.com/Asset_...7-00vliv01.jpg - Its a bit more expensive than JBB's budget, but its worth the extra investment.

If I were going out tonight, I'd wear this shirt on top instead of a tee shirt.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if I were going out, I'd wear these shoes instead. Aldo sneakers...

Ever heard of Andre Leon Talley? He is like 300 lbs, and still dresses impeccably. Don't let your size ever get in the way of your personal statement in style!

Bwebb,

IMO, you can't go wrong with "7 for all Mankind" or Energie jeans. Most of their styles are more form-fitting, and female friends have mentioned many times that they would rather see guys wearing the tighter style than the baggy stuff.

The problem with these reccomendations is you will probably get into a lot of fights wearing these jeans around Fresno.
