I tend to think that opinion is illusory for most frequent smokers. I've played better counterstrike stoned, but only when the weed was something that induced the right mood for attention. After a while, that wears off and you find less important things begin to get your attention.

If playing high is an adrenaline thing, just set a limit if you really need to do it. Keep a record of how often it costs you money, as well.
