Ideas for raising $$$ for charity (X-Post)
 

I'm going to have to raise $200 for charity through Dance Marathon, which is a fundraiser through Northwestern University (last year they raised a total of $620,000). Part of the application is coming up with creative and unique ways to raise this money. I have a couple myself, but I know OOT can give me a ton of ideas. So, post em. Nothing is too wacky.

And if you've actually done some of the ideas or seen them done, I'd love to know how they turned out.

Contact Stars or some other site an ask if they will host a small tourny and donated the Vig to your cause. Invite friends and 2+2ers and youll have your goal in no time. We are talking about $200 bucks here... not like you are raising millions of dollars. If this doesnt work, just shake a cup on a street corner.. some of those guys make serious cash.

Funny that you mention it, but that's one of the things they specifically mention in the "not unique" category... [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]


Oh, and the tourney idea is a very good idea..
