pot it and hope no one raises or calls or looks at you funny. if you don't like betting and folding to a raise you might as well just check/fold. bigtime reverse implied odds, no reason to pick a fight

Certainly not on Pokerstars.net.

Because you've got chips I'd bet I guess. Moreso because of the flop then the fact you've got top pair. But I'd often just check and see what my opponents do and fold or raise when it comes back to me (assuming it's not checked through).

This is a limit tourney, right? There are two roads I'm likely to take here: check-fold, or check-call and hope to check-raise turn if the board pairs, a club or a 6 comes. I'm leaning towards the former, because I don't know how often you'll get that check-raise or if it will even do anything good for you if you do.

In a situation like this I want to keep the pot relatively small, Id probably check call then lead the turn 2/3's of the pot. usually if you're behind you'll know then. If called I'll check/call the river depending on the board.

This is no limit which is why I called. So, since everyone says to bet out:

Total number of players : 9
Seat 1: awriver ( $1130 )
Seat 2: guffa ( $880 )
Seat 3: JROONIE ( $1260 )
Seat 4: lou1707 ( $905 )
Seat 6: Tough2Read ( $1025 )
Seat 7: MsRogerClyne ( $970 )
Seat 8: Adanthar1 ( $1890 )
Seat 9: Knet_poker ( $980 )
Seat 10: elihog ( $960 )
Trny:16009207 Level:2
Blinds (10/20)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Adanthar1 [ 5s 8s ]
Knet_poker folds.
elihog raises [40].
awriver calls [40].
guffa folds.
JROONIE folds.
lou1707 folds.
Tough2Read folds.
MsRogerClyne folds.
Adanthar1 calls [20].
** Dealing Flop ** [ 5c, 4c, 3h ]
Adanthar1 bets [100].
elihog thinks a long time and calls [100].
awriver thinks forever and folds. (There goes the overpair.)

Before I proceed, what do you put him on and what are your plans on:

1)A blank?
2)A 6?
3)A non-ace Broadway?
4)Any other cards you'd like to specifically mention go here

Re: Play along with me in this Happy Hour hand

1) I don't think there is such thing as a blank in this hand.
2) I lead out under all of those situations. You've got chips. Use them.
