simple probability question

3 events, they odds of them happening are, 1/3 1/3 2/5

what are the odds that 2/3 of those events will occur, it can be any 2 out of those 3. thanks.

Re: simple probability question

As long as they are not related:

First 2:
1/3*1/3*3/5= 3/45
First and Last:
1/3*2/3*2/5 = 4/45
Last 2:
2/3*1/3*2/5= 4/45

So 11/45 that exactly 2/3 will occur.

If you include the case when all 3 occurs,
1/3*1/3*2/5= 2/45, total probability is 13/45.
