Hello! Do experts need to continue to try to improve...

their game of choice. It seems to me that once one becomes an expert at a given game/structure,he has graduated and does not need to try to continue to learn/improve. After all, once he/she arrives at this expert level, what is there MORE to be learned? The expert player has already reached his full potential.
The world class no limit tournement texas hold'em player,Chris Ferguson, stated that one ALWAYS need to continue to improve his/her game--otherwise,expect to deteriorate in play.
Does this statement apply to experts too?

Hello! Mr. Bull...

Nice to have you back on the forum after a little break. (meant to say that awhile ago when I saw you were posting again)

This is a key phrase.

Playing poker does wear on you mentally. The more you study, the more you understand, the longer and better you can play. Take a break for a significant amount of time, then come back and try to play at the same level. To me, it's kind of like how athletes condition themselves for their jobs.

One thing there is always to learn is the new players you face and how to exploit them.

Re: Hello,Bernie! Nice to \"see\" u--Thanks

for the friendly greeting!
I've been adjusting to cyberspace poker during the time that I did not post. Of course, playing "live" is more interesting. However, playing online is much more convenient.

Re: Hello Stone! Doyle Brunson has several bracelets

testifying to his expertise as a no limit hold'em tournement player. Further evidence of his expertise is that he is a Hall Of Fame member.
He admitted ,after being knocked out of a final table at a WSOP event that he "made a mistake" when he played his oppo.
Hence,UR premise that an expert makes NO mistakes is incorrect.
