I want a "Rebuy Trout". Make it a 3+R. Most people should be able to afford it. Could be great fun.

That's not a bad idea. I wish it was one of the options for private tournaments. It's not.

You sure? The King of the Zoo series had an 11R earlier this year. Maybe it's a recent change.

I'm going to miss the Atlantic tonight (x-mas shopping). I might make it home in time for the Pacific, so if you haven't found a taker for the Pacific and I make it home in time I'll take your LL action.

I think if you take bunches of vig to stars you can negotiate anything, but when I pull up the screen to set up private tournaments, it's just not an option on the standard screen.

Very nice Q set Durron. You guys are too tough for me. Which, of course, is why it is fun playing with the Trout bunch. I have to go back to games that are softer.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. I hope you and yours are safe, well, and happy. If you travel, do so carefully.

A trout HU match for the ages. Very entertaining - great game guys.

thanks.. well played Durron..

All I have to say on the Q10 hand.. I bet small on the flop knowing he'd raise me.. Then I tried to get *too* cute and just call the raise.. I mean isn't that adorable? at the time, yes, yes it was.

SFb annd I had a classic last longer, down to the tiny stacks, playing the waiting game.
I think Marwan sucked out on me......memory issues, I'll have to look it up.

You played pretty well yourself. I wouldn't have made the raise without at least ace high... when you called the raise I was check-folding UI. When you just jammed the turn was sure you had 1 pair queens (because it's unlikely I have an ace) rather than slowplaying something stronger.

All I can say is: Ax is the nuts vs. big pocket pairs. And flopping straights vs. overpairs is fun too.

They are under the Private tab in the Tourneys section of Stars games. I think late registration goes a couple of minutes into the game itself.

If it makes you feel any better, I cracked cha's AQo with 97s. He caught me stealing on the button and I just had to call.

I had a nice run and was chip leader 3-handed until mac totally cheated and pwned me with aces against my KJ, and then he crippled me when my QT two pair ran into his AJ nut straight.

That was my 1st one, and I really had fun. It's a good time for me, so I'll probably be playing a lot more.

jb9 12-22-2005 12:43 PM

Re: Pacific RESULTS

I think I offended the poker gods with this hand and that is why mac crushed me heads up.

I had some vague stupid wine-induced idea that I'd let the short stack in rather than re-raising (was math or basic poker sense involved at any point during the formation of this idea? I don't think so...).

After that didn't work, I just had to go with my read, which given the way button had been playing was probably accurate .
