Stars 10+1 hand.

How was my raise on the flop? Do I push the turn?

Villain has seemed fairly competent, a bit on the loose side preflop.

something tells me he has 33 or 44

I put him on a big overpair such as AA KK or QQ or AKs of hearts. So I would make him pay for his potential draws- bet the size of the pot. If he pushes, I'll call since it's during the rebuy period.

Betting the size of the pot is a bit hard with my stack. Guess that means push. This is not a rebuy by the way.

Also exactly why do you put him on that range? He limped preflop.

You have a big hand here. You don't have to push. You can make a less than pot bet if you think it have a better chance of being called. Pushing is not necessarily bad if you think your opponent might be on a draw. The bigger bet might also look like a semibluff or bluff and be called.

Since he limped PF, i guess i put him on overcards, Ax, PP other then 33, 44 or 88 or 2 hearts. His potsized bet could have meant that he hit his Ax kicker (a 3 or a 4), he wants to see if his PP is any good or he has a draw to the nutflush.

If he's on a draw I would make him pay for it with a good-sized bet.

That was my line. I put out a 350 bet, got raised all in. He had 44, I busted. But as long as I played it fine I'm happy.

Basicly what I wonder most about is my raise on the flop. Since after that I'm pretty much commited to this hand.

350 is bad. just push the turn. you have like 700 left w/ 1k in the pot. you're going broke here, just something you have to deal with. there's no sense in not getting your $ in when hands like A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and 99 are going to be calling. fwiw, villian played the flop pretty bad

Re: Stars 10+1 hand.

Seems like you where supposed to get busted on this hand. Trips vs Full House on a board like that... Tough luck and yes, bad played by your opponent but he ended up with your chips.

You could however put him on a full house by his check raise on turn when the board paired too. Only hand that got him beat would be 88 and 84.
