check/fold box head games (low value?)

This post is somewhat whimsical.

I don't like to use the "check/fold" box in the BB, because if my opponents notice me doing this they may start min-raising and stealing my blinds with little risk.

That got me thinking. Maybe I could use the check/fold box early and induce my opponents to steal too much with min-raises. Then when the blinds are high I can come over the top all-in.

So my questions:

1) Does anyone here pay attention to whether an opponent is using the check/fold box?

2) Has anyone tried this ploy?

Paul

I will use the check button when I have a good starting hand in the BB, like 9s or KQs. It makes you appear weak. Then, bam, you hit your set on the flop with an ace on board and rake their chips in(as long as no bad beat happens). Try that one out.

I will sometimes take notice when person to my left is using c/f in the BB, and try stealing with 2x instead of 3x. Doesn't happen very often, though.

I do definately use the "check" pre-action box when trying to trap someone heads-up (postflop).
