i'd go to 175. you don't want to give odds.

You don't, but you do want to keep the pot manageable for the turn. I don't think 25 makes that much difference to the donks at $22 anyway..

OK, I actually raised to t200 on the flop. Now what's your move on the turn?

Re: Turn Action

i would give up. if he has a flush draw, it's probably Axs. if it's a 6, it's probably A6. or maybe it's 55 and you were smoked all along.

Re: Turn Action

This is one reason you don't raise to 200. It's unnecessarilly bloated the pot. I check the turn, but not necessarilly give up. Villain will interpret that check as weakness and may bluff. I think you can call a manageable bet on the river, or hope to check down.

Re: Turn Action

You do have to raise this flop though. I agree t200 is just a bit too much.

Really? A bet/called raise on the flop will have 99 beat more often than not?

Couldn't he easily have 77-88,QJ of clubs, or something crazy like Q5o to make seeing a showdown profitable?

i'm not going to muck my hand. i just mean that i'm going to check behind and call only a small bet on the end.
