Breakfast-sammich-maker gizmo

toaster on steroids

I'm very intrigued by this. Anyone have it? Report, please.

Edit: I'd like to know if clean-up is easy and if it's easy to find precooked ham/sausage that fits in the compartment.

I just don't see the appeal of yet another gizmo taking up counter space. If our kitchen were a bit bigger I might feel differently, but right now I'll stick to McD's when I want to inflame my arteries.

Also, a breakfast sandwich like this is pretty weak compared to some freshly scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, so when I feel like one of those breakfasts it's easier to just whip out the frying pan.

Looks awesome, but when you really think about it, the only difference is an extra thing for poaching an egg. If you already have a toaster you can just buy a little ring thing to put on a pan to make the eggs the same way.

I predict that like a lot of kitchen gadgets, this would be fun for about a week.

Precooked canadian bacon can be found at most grocery stores. Ditto for microwave sausage patties.
