i dont have a graph, but man have i been getting my face kicked in at 6 max lately. granted it is mostly playing only $2/$4 but man. I remember 6 months into my online poker experience i heard you guys talking about all the nasty swings, and being ingorant/arrogant i thought that would never happen to me, boy was i wrong. i wont go into detail about the bad beat after bad beat, anyone who has been in a streak like this alreay knows, but it is a sick sick feeling.

A useful reply would include too much content for these parts. I suggest trying the strategy forums.

How about this one 4 minutes later
(6 max, 6 handed) converter
SB has AA
Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, CO calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls, CO calls.

Flop: (10 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls, CO folds.

Turn: (6 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

River: (12 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, Hero calls.

SB has AA

Final Pot: 14 BB

I put him on AA (or atleast AQ) first hand he raised pre flop in over an hour, and his agression factor was .2, thats why i was able to slow down. VP%IP near 90% but hand seen him raise once till this hand

Ya know, not to post real content, but on both of those hands you would have found out what he had much sooner if you had raised the flop, thus saving you those precious big bets.

Re: newest member of 300BB downswing club

Not to add real content, but I'm not looking for places to save bets on either hand

I disagree. Aside from physical pain, running bad is for me, 100% the worst feeling in the world.

Re: newest member of 300BB downswing club

on the 66 hand if i raise the flop on the relativly safe board than it is just checked to me on the turn most times at this table, instead i was able to get someone to bet and someone to call before it was to me. on the KQ hand if you are heads up with that hand i dont see why you would want to slow him down on the flop, why not let him bet into me again on the turn? is just happens he has one of the two hands that beats me

Hmmm...how does "running bad" feel compared to being diagnosed with cancer, or the death of a loved one? I haven't experienced either, but I imagine they'd make running bad seem pretty nice by comparison!
