Impressions on the Empire Bonus
 

Hi Guys,
I am presently clearing the Empire bonus playing 6 max .5/$1. I deposited on Wednesday night about 9PM so this gives me til next Saturday around 9 PM to clear it. I have about 5-6 hours into it and have accumulated about 800 hands. Anyone out there have a raked hand/hour average for the 6 max games? I am trying to calculate how many play hours I am going to have to put in here. Does 125 sound about right?

I cleared the PLAYOCT bonus last night playing 1/2 6-max. 2,064 total hands, 1,035 raked hands. 50% of all hands raked seems pretty miserable. I was expecting it to be around 70%. Anybody else have 6-max data?

Normally 6-max rakes anywhere from 60-65%, but since the split, its only running about 50-52% for me. Another reason I've gone to PP exclusive and blown off Empire bonuses.

I'm taking a pass on the 6000 raked hand joke. On the bonus
before that table selection was a problem. With all of
these bonuses going it looks like there are more players
on the skins. But the problem is most of them are bonus
players!

Some eperimentation today revealed 1/2 6 max seems to be the optimal place to clear. Most hands are raked, yielding about 200 raked hands per play hour on four tables. .5/$1 is about half that and don't bother with any full games on either level. Total rock gardens and you will never clear because they are so tight, no pot is ever big enough to be raked. I estimate I have about 20 play hours to do before next Saturday night at about this time. Very doable.

I've been 4-tabling the 5/10 full games to clear this bonus, and am getting about 225 raked hands/hour. For reference, I am playing approximately between the hours of 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. (EST) most of the time.

I played yesterday and got 1000 raked hands in 1731 dealt hands at 1/2 short. This took me right at 4hrs. Some of the tables were 3,4,5 handed.

Its cost me $600 so far....

My stats: 0.5/1 level. ~50% of raked hands, 6 max players. 140 hands per hour or so 43 hours to clear $300 bonus game. Not bad.
