Nevada Jack\'s Desert Sands Poker Chips
I'm thinking of buying a large set of Nevada Jack's Desert Sands poker chips, could someone that has had experience with them at the table let me know how they hold up?
In the poker chips comparison video, it is mentioned that they have quite a texture, is this good or bad? Does it mean they're harder to do tricks with? TTFN, Yokiboy |
Re: Nevada Jack\'s Desert Sands Poker Chips
In my oppinion these are the best "bang for the buck" chips on the market. I picked up 1500 of these for $600 awhile back and am rather pleased with them. I pre-ordered the WSOP chipco replicas and they still arent here (think I got ripped off by cardroomsupply.com)so these are all I have at the moment. They stack well and shuffle pretty good as well. You have to break them in, they are a little rough at first.

So you say that rough texture wears off with use, that's good. Okay, I guess I have to close the deal and get these chips.

Re: Nevada Jack\'s Desert Sands Poker Chips
do it. i had the dice chips but also used paulsons in the casino and really love the desert sands. one plus i noticed was how gross the casinos white chips got. the deserts sands doesnt have a white chip to get dirty. thats just one personal thing i really like about them.

Dont buy w/o getting samples first! If you're strongly considering these, buy a stack of 10-20 so you can see for yourself.
Excellent chips for the price, very similar to Chipco. They also do customs of these. |
Re: Nevada Jack\'s Desert Sands Poker Chips
i recently bought 900. i spend time each day shuffling a couple of stacks of 10. they need a half hour of shuffling or so to break in, then they're smooth enough to work fine.
when brand new, though, they're a bitch to shuffle. |

mine arrive tommorrow...if the ups tracking website could talk, it would tell me to back off or it'll get a restraining order...

Re: Nevada Jack\'s Desert Sands Poker Chips
Please stop saying good things about the chips. I do not want to order another set of chips in between waiting for the Pharoah's to arrive
