Tipping dealers--cash game
 

What is the protocol for tipping dealers in a cash game? I know you should tip when you take down a pot--but not sure how much. Do you tip when you steal the blinds? Thanks in advance!

I only tip in pots that are large enough to be raked (I.e. not steals). Depends on the limit. If you're playing $2-4, a 50c tip would be good on a mid sized pot. Most other limits $1 would be standard unless the pot you won was extraordinarily large.
