Raised on turn

The Button is a tight aggressive player. He plays well.

Party Poker 1.00/2.00 Hold'em (6 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop: (13.00 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

River: (13.00 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 15.00 BB.

When he raises a preflop capper and another player on the turn I wasnt sure my hand was good.

Can I fold this turn ?

I guess I should have dropped it when the second Jack hit on the river

Re: Raised on turn

Reading through the hand I think his turn raise is most likely AA/KK.

There is a small chance that he is semi bluffing the turn with AK diamonds.

I think you can fold that river though although most people will tell you "big pot, 1 bet, call"

If OP's read is on he's never semi bluffing AK[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] there in a protected pot that large when it's obvious Hero has a big hand.

I'd call the river hoping to see A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or TT, or even the case QQ, though I wonder how often he'd actually value bet A9 or TT, if he's real good and you know he wouldn't bet these then maybe it is a fold.

You can't fold the turn because he can play AJ this way.

The river sucks but I'm still calling getting 14:1.

On the River, I like bet/fold more than check/call.

You might steal the pot from KK or AA, and occassionally from some other better hand like two pair or a set lower than Jacks. That would be a real coup. If you bet the river, your opponents have to fear you have a Jack and they will rarely raise without something that can match or beat that. I don't think you have to worry about getting bluff raised out of this hand if you bet the River.
