drunken 2/4 with sfer, jbb, exposed cards, no poker content
 

just remembered this hand from a while ago. drunken late night 2/4 at the borg. table lineup, from the 1s: rando nl player, sfer, johnny boom boom, flushed, james282, myself, 2+2 lurker, scrub, evan. there is a 20/40 bankroll on the table, and i know i need to work on my table selection skills.

since my memory sucks and there were various prop bets that may have confounded earlier actions, i'm going to skip straight to the river.

on the turn, i finally looked at my cards, and sfer and jbb had not yet. the others in the hand had folded, so we decide to each turn over one card. they are to pick which one of mine i show so that its random. jbb is not pleased with his hand once he finally looks.

anyway, on the river, i have 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] with three diamonds on a jack-high unpaired board. the third [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] came on the river. the pot is gigantic. sfer is showing a pair on the board below a jack and not a diamond, jbb is showing the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. sfer bets, jbb calls unhappily, i raise, sfer 3bets, jbb folds, for some reason dave did something other than call or fold.

i was amused.
