Does Party allow players to intentionally stall in cash games?

A guys AA got sucked out on and so to spite the table he announced that he would be intentionally stalling and using up his whole time clock. So he did so. I asked him to stop politely and he told me to f*** off.

So I emailed party support, will they do anything about it?

This is Party support...

He won't get a reply at all, like my last 8 emails sent.

I had a guy do this at a table.
He lasted for about 20-30 hands or so.

I also politely asked him to stop and pointed out that he wasn't hurting Party...just the players at the table who wanted to play (he was in the mode of 'F this site for rigging it against me. I'm going to stall in protest of these awful cards' or something like that).

i wasn't going to bother contacting C/S about it...butI think that others have reported that C/S might just say "It's unfortunate if they are intentionally stalling. But some players need more time to make their decisions or if they have a connection issue (blah blah blah)"

I would be interested to hear if you actually get Party do something about it though so give it a shot.

Technically this is against any rules, as you are simplying using all of your allotted time each time, to "make a good decision"

Thus little can be done to such a player, even though he's a tard.

Since he said it in chat they MIGHT do something if they respond at all. IMO Party gives way too much time.

I disagree, I think there should be a time bank or something, when I'm contemplating calling a $800 river bet in 5/10 I would like some more time to really think it out.

there is a crap load of game selection at party. let the guy have his hissy fit and just move to another table.

Re: Does Party allow players to intentionally stall in cash games?

In the past, Party has warned players who have announced in chat they are stalling to punish the table when they have been alerted about such actions.

But, Party has also responded that they will not do that as well, so its the luck of the draw if they will act. In this case I'm betting they would more often than not.

Here is their response, not surprising:

Dear Player,

Thank you for contacting us.

We sympathize with your frustration regarding slow play during games.

However, please understand that not all players are able to respond quickly.
This may well be due to slow internet connections which are outside our control.

To ensure fairness to all, every player is given 30 seconds to respond and is
allowed to take that time.

Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

Re: Does Party allow players to intentionally stall in cash games?

yet again another incompetent and unacceptable response from party.

I suppose you actually DID explain that the player was even saying in chat that he was purposefully letting his clock run-down.

Additionally...the response probably came 3 hours later or so and by that time the specific problem wasn't there anymore (although the general policy on such stuff isn't exactly a moot point).
