The WSOP uses $500 tournament chips for entries. So if you played in a satellite at Binions last year for a $1500 tournament the winner got three tournament chips.

My understanding with FullTilt's $2000 satellite is that the first prize is three $500 tournament chips plus $500 in cash credited to your account. You can use your tournamnet chips however you choose.
