I thought the game would be have some strategy where you trade numbers with others.

Show was kind of addicting though.

Re: Deal or No Deal

LOL I played the game on the site, I got it down to 2 cases, one has a million the other has 500. The offer? 355k! Screw them I'm going 50/50!

Edit: Results, I'm a lucksack.

EV has it worth 110k now, banker offering her 90k. She'll take it though.

[/ QUOTE ]

with just 500k left and the rest waaaay under there is no reason why she shouldnt be taking the 90k...

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't take it. Giving up $20k equity? Please nigga.

[/ QUOTE ]

You know that almost every offer is -EV, right?

This game is awesome. Why don't you guys like to watch it? It gets straight to really degenerate gambling and you get to see people say things like "I KNEW IT WAS IN THAT CASE!" and be results oriented at the end. Plus the whole audience going "CMOOONNNNN!!!" is awesome.

Re: Deal or No Deal

the promos for this show were terrible. all it said was "WILL IT BE...DEAL...OR NO DEAL?" i have seen several commercials for it and i have no [censored] idea what it's about, so i didn't record it.

Re: Deal or No Deal

EV is one consideration, but hardly the most important. If someone offered to give me $2 million or flip a coin for either $5 or $5 million, I wouldn't have to think about it.

Re: Deal or No Deal

clearly i need to become a pro deal or no deal player:

http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a129/chuddo/deal.jpg

look at the dumb deal they offer when i am down to 750k and 1M.

methinks the calculator is a bit screwy.

"hmm..im guaranteed either 750k or 1mil...but i could save myself the hastle of opening another briefcase for 680k.... ill take it!"

If all the contestants are going to be this stupid I'm not going to be able to watch this.

If all the contestants are this stupid I'm going to be watching this show every week. I saw the thread on here (yay for being on the West Coast) and recorded it solely for that reason...wow. The look on her face when she picked the $500k? And even better, the look on her husband's face, since he told her to pick it?? Priceless.

I missed this last night, but damn, this show sucks. It's so obvious they don't want anyone to ever take the deal.

Howie is a crappy game show host. His stand-up in the 80s was awesome, but then he decided to stop being funny.
